Town House, Dulwich
Town House, Dulwich
A contemporary infill house in the heart of East Dulwich, London. Positioned on a discreet urban plot that was formerly a parking area.
The Story
On a tight urban plot in East Dulwich, this striking brick house showcases how underused land can be transformed into a high-value asset through intelligent design and strategic planning. Working within the constraints of a conservation area and neighbouring properties, we secured consent for a contemporary home that stands out for its craftsmanship and thoughtful integration.
The house is defined by its robust brickwork and carefully modelled volumes, which create a sense of privacy while allowing natural light to flood the interiors. Living spaces are arranged to maximise flexibility and connection to the outdoors, with large windows and a secluded garden providing a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city.
Sustainability and longevity were prioritised, with high-performance insulation, energy-efficient systems, and durable materials ensuring low running costs and lasting appeal. The project has attracted attention for its design quality, adding prestige and marketability to the property.
This development demonstrates that even challenging urban sites can deliver significant uplift in value when approached with expertise, unlocking new opportunities for landowners and creating homes that are both desirable and enduring.
